BACK TO SCHOOL

The 2025–2026 school year is quickly approaching and we are excited to welcome you!

 

Whether you are new to OCA or returning to our community, we’re grateful to partner with you for another year of learning and growth. Please review the important information and upcoming dates below as we prepare for the first day of school on Thursday, August 14.

IMPORTANT DATES

August 7 – Secondary Schedule Pick-Up: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Please note, students will not go into classrooms or meet teachers on this day.


August 12 – 6th Grade Parent Academy and Open Houses, 5:00pm - 7:00pm...


Secondary Open House: This event is recommended for new students and new-to-secondary students. Meet the teachers, admin, and staff. Schedules will be available at Open House and posted to each student’s account on FACTS/RenWeb. For questions regarding FACTS/RenWeb login, please contact Mrs. Bouye at ebouye@ocacademy.org

 

6th Grade Parent Academy: 6th grade students and parents please meet in the auditorium at 5:00pm. After a brief introduction, families can attend breakout sessions to meet teachers, find lockers, and learn about all things 6th grade.

Elementary Open House:

Find your assigned time to visit your classroom below, based on your last name. Please bring your school supplies to this event to leave in your classroom.

6p: Last Names L-R
6:30p: Last Names S-Z


August 12 – Meet Your Eagles: 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the OCA Gym
Join us for our school-wide pep rally, along with food trucks, spirit wear for sale, and more!
Details to come.


August 14 – First Day of School: 8:00am - 3:20pm (Early drop-off begins at 7:30am)
6th grade students are released to the front of the secondary building for pick up.
7-12th grade students are released for pick up to the back parking lot.

 

TECHNOLOGY

Chromebooks will be distributed during the first two days of school to all 9th–12th graders. Middle school student Chromebooks remain with middle school classroom teachers.
Please complete THIS form before receiving Chromebook access.

 

ACADEMIC SCHEDULING 

We believe that learning to adapt, persevere, and engage fully with new opportunities is an essential part of student development. Our team has carefully built schedules in an attempt to support each student’s unique academic journey, and we’re here to help them grow through the challenges and successes ahead. As part of our commitment to a growth mindset, we will not be making changes to student schedule(s) this year. If there are errors or omissions in student schedules, please contact Mrs. Suzanne Heng (Academic Dean) for Middle School schedule inquiries and Ms. Brooke Scott (Secondary Principal) for all high school schedule inquiries.

FORMS AND REMINDERS

  • Student Drivers – Print and return THIS form to the secondary office by August 15, 2025.

  • Off-Campus Lunch (Juniors & Seniors) – Print and return THIS form by August 15, 2025.

  • Students without a form on file must be signed out by a parent to leave campus.

  • High School Lockers – Lockers are limited, reserve HERE

    • Priority will be given to those with documented medical needs.

    • Middle School students will find their pre-assigned lockers at Open House.​

  • Please fill out a Medication Consent Form if you would like the nurse to give your child basic medications during the school year.
