BACK TO SCHOOL

The 2026–2027 school year is HERE and we are excited to welcome you!

 

Whether you are new to OCA or returning to our community, we’re grateful to partner with you for another year of learning and growth. Please review the important information and upcoming dates below as we prepare for the first day of school on Thursday, August 13.

IMPORTANT DATES

August 10 – Meet Your Eagles / Open House, 4:00-7:30 PM
 

You are invited to Meet Your Eagles, OCA’s All-School Open House. For this event, you may park in any OCA parking lot, the OCA gym parking lot or in the Will Rogers Parking lot.

 

Elementary Eagles should bring their school supplies and PE shoes to their classroom during these designated times:

  • Last Names A-E: 4:00 PM

  • Last Names F-I: 4:30 PM

  • Last Names J-M: 5:00 PM

  • Last Names N-Q: 5:30 PM

  • Last Names R-U: 6:00 PM

  • Last Names V-Z: 6:30 PM

 

Secondary Students may walk their schedule, drop their community supplies in the library, or set up their locker any time between 4:30-7:30p. Mrs. Wondra will be in the lobby to answer schedule questions. Schedule change requests must be submitted by ticket.

 

ALL students and families:

  • If you pre-ordered a 2025-26 yearbook, you may pick it up in the auditorium

  • Purchase your 40th anniversary spirit shirts in the PTO tent located in front of the secondary building. Shirts are $20, cash or card accepted. Adult | Youth

  • Meet and sign up with PTO!

  • Eat at a Food Truck: Falcones Pizza, Psycho Taco, Kona Ice, Dirty Soda Truck

  • Play on our new playground and see the new mural

  • Visit with clubs in the cafeteria and sign up for any that interest you

  • Meet your 2026-27 OCA staff, the OCA mascot Swoop, or reunite with old friends and make new ones!

  • If you’ve been at OCA for a while, please note there is NO program in the gym this year. Come and go as you please!


August 13 – First Day of School: 8:00 AM (Early drop-off begins at 7:30 AM)

First day of school!

  • Doors open at 7:30 AM; School begins at 8:00 AM

  • If you arrive after 8:00 AM, please check in at the kiosk in the entrance to your building. The printed ticket is your late pass.

  • Please review our carline maps

  • Students must be in uniform

  • School ends at:

    • PreK 3:00 PM, Elementary 3:10 PM, Secondary 3:20 PM
